Area Assistants: Flexibility and good communication skills are helpful for area assistants, as they will be engaging in a variety of roles. These roles may include assisting vendors, artists, and panelists, directing people to events/activities, and being available for other odd jobs and tasks.

Artistic Lead/Artistic Assistants:  We are looking for a few individuals to share their artistic talents in painting, construction/props, design, etc to help with some specific decorative projects leading up to the Con, including one or two who may be interested in taking a leadership role in these projects.  These individuals will not necessarily be required to volunteer during the convention, but for organized projects prior to the event.

 

Parking Assistants: Friendly and social volunteers can find this position rewarding as you welcome guests to the Comic Con at the High School parking lot. You will be responsible for directing guests to the bus, engaging them in conversation, and answering any questions as the first point of contact for the Comic Con! 

 

Registration/Information Assistants: Organization and team work skills are important for this role. Volunteers helping here will assist registration leaders by retrieving t-shirts/swag bags/information packets/etc, fielding questions, and directing people to the correct lines. 

 

Set Up & Tear Down Crew: Energetic and hard working individuals will be a great asset to this crew. You will be helping with the set up and/or tear down of Comic Con, which entails helping vendors/artists load in and out, moving tables/chairs, and other tasks that need to take place to create an amazing and positive atmosphere!
